Providing the voice and support for a stronger industry

Fire protection. It’s all around us – in the places we live, work and spend our time, silently watching over us. An invisible guardian in our communities.

But imagine a situation where you needed this unnoticed protector to spark into action. Where your life depended on it. You’d want to know that it’s going to get the job done, wouldn’t you?

That’s the responsibility that rests in the hands of our members everyday. Designing, installing and maintaining fire protection systems that may never be put to the ultimate test, but where the outcomes could be catastrophic if they ever failed.

But while our hard-working Members are out in the field at the frontline of fire protection, who is looking after their interests, and those of the broader industry.

That’s where we come in. As the country’s leading Fire Protection Industry Association, we’re in the corner of the many businesses who work tirelessly to make our communities safer, from the smallest sub-contractor to large Australia-wide construction and service companies.

Everyday, we’re supporting and equipping them to deliver the highest quality work, and fighting for higher standards of fire protection across the industry. By advocating, providing expert technical advice, delivering training and education, and guiding licensing requirements, we’re helping to create safer communities throughout the Country.

It’s why Tier 1 contractors rely on our members to get the job done. It’s why we have a seat at the table with governments and other bodies when it comes to industry reforms, standards or advice.
And it’s why more businesses turn to us for support and guidance.

We stand alongside our members, always striving to deliver higher-quality fire protection for our communities. Whether through a voice at the boardroom table, or boots on the ground at a
construction site, we’re providing the sparks for a better, stronger industry.
